Zéng Joer méi spéit ass vun där Euphorie wéineg iwwreg – d’Klimaziler ginn ëmmer nach verfeelt, an och Lëtzebuerg huet seng Emissiounen eréischt an de leschte Joren däitlech reduzéiert.D’Journalist*innen Joël Adami a Maria Elorza kucken zeréck op d’Geschicht vun de COP-Konferenzen – vum Kyoto-Protokoll bis Paräis – a erklären, wou d’Welt haut steet an

Happy Hour and Happy Diwali, with the Indian Association Luxembourg

President of the Indian Association Luxembourg, Sahil Goel,  and the emcee for the IAL’s Diwali Gala for the second year in a row, Minu Vasundhara, join me in the studio just a few days ahead of the Diwali Gala to be held at the Cercle Cite on 8 November. As usual, the popular event was sold out, so we weren’t trying to fill seats on tonight’s show, but talking in general about the association, its activities, and the meaning behind Diwali and the ways that it is celebrated.  It’s also known as the Festival of Lights, and symbolizes the triumph

D’Robotaxi-Illusioun

Episod 358 – D’Robotaxi-Illusioun All Woch bitt d’woxx Iech an hirem Podcast en Abléck an hir journalistesch Aarbecht a beliicht d’Hannergrënn vun engem Artikel. An dëser Episod geet et ëm eng Zukunftsvisioun, déi ëmmer méi no kënnt: automatiséiert Fueren. D’Regierung huet d’Strategie „Automatiséiert Fueren 2028“ presentéiert an domat grouss Pläng ugekënnegt – bis hin zu Robotaxien op eise Stroossen. Awer wéi realistesch ass dat wierklech?De Journalist Joël Adami erkläert, wat hannert der neier Strategie stécht, wéi autonom déi sougenannt selbstfuerege Gefierer tatsächlech sinn an ob se d’Mobilitéitsproblemer am Land léise kënnen oder se éischter verschäerfen. Den Artikel, iwwert dee mir

Happy Hour Halloween, with local stories and poems and vintage music

Nicolas Calmes from Radio ARA’s Bistro show joins me in the studio to read his own haunting poem and to help read works by members of Luxembourg Writers Who Talk asbl – contributors in addition to Nicolas were Andrea Murphy, Evelyn Valdivieso Ruiz, Goetz von Thadden and me, Wendy Winn.  We also heard very short stories by Edgar Allen Poe and the voices of Vincent Price and Basil Rathbone, as well as cornucopia of vintage Halloween songs from everyone from Louis Armstrong to Rudy Vallee and His Connecticut Yankees, and Nicolas provides info on what ghoulish going-ons are happening this

Electronic Emotions Nº 0022 – 26.10.2025

Moien and welcome back to Electronic Emotions! It’s Andrea here, and I’ve got some exciting news for you in this episode. Starting today, we’re introducing a new format: from time to time, we’ll be featuring artists based in or performing in Luxembourg. We’re kicking things off with a fantastic guest — Timelord, an exceptional producer and live performer. In the second half of the show, he’ll be sharing some of his tracks and… there’s an exclusive surprise waiting for you! But I’ll let him tell you more about it himself. 😉 So stay tuned for the next hour — it’s

Iwwert Suizid schwätzen léieren

Episod 357 – Iwwert Suizid schwätzen léieren All Woch bitt d’woxx Iech an hirem Podcast en Abléck an hir journalistesch Aarbecht a beliicht d’Hannergrënn vun engem Artikel. An dëser Episod geet et ëm e schwéiert, mä wichtegt Thema: Suizidpräventioun. D’Ligue luxembourgeoise d’hygiène mentale huet eng nei Formatioun gestart, déi dozou bäidroe soll, datt méi Mënschen léieren, wéi ee mat Persounen an enger suizidaler Kris ëmgeet. D’Melanie Czarnik war dobäi an erzielt, wéi esou eng Formatioun ofleeft an wat se bewierke kann. Den Artikel, iwwert dee mir geschwat hunn: Suizidprävention: Über Suizidalität sprechen lernen

Happy Hour – 9 Oct 2025 – AWCL’s Trunk or Treat and Gifts for Kids

Kënschtlech Intelligenz: D’Folgen fir d’Ëmwelt

Kënschtlech Intelligenz: D’Folgen fir d’Ëmwelt All Woch bitt d’woxx Iech an hirem Podcast en Abléck an hir journalistesch Aarbecht a beliicht d’Hannergrënn vun engem Artikel. Wéi vill Energie verbraucht Kënschtlech Intelligenz a firwat gëtt doriwwer esou wéineg geschwat?Et geet ëm gigantesch Rechenzentren, risege Stroumverbrauch an e Klimafoussofdrock, deen dacks verschleiert gëtt.
