Today, I’m hosting Vyacheslav Shugaev, a third-year student from the Gnesin Music Academy in Moscow. He just made waves at The Luxembourg Guitar Festival, landing fourth place and “Viewer’s Choice Award”.
When we scheduled this interview, we had no clue Vyacheslav would make it to the finals, let alone achieve such impressive results. Makes our conversation even more intriguing, doesn’t it?
Vyacheslav Shugaev has a track record of success, having won awards at various local and international competitions and performing at numerous concerts. Last year, he clinched the second prize at prestigious Frauchi Competition.
He shared insights into his musical journey, studies, teaching experiences, future plans, and even some guitarists’ secrets.
