About the Show

“The bookworm under my shoe” is an English literature podcast, created by a high school student who takes a great interest in literature. This podcast includes reviews, analyses and recommendations of books, in a plethora of genres. The aim of this podcast is to help aspiring readers get more into literature, in order find hidden meanings that translate into modern, everyday life. That is because, finding symbolism in the simplest of things can alter the pragmatic and practical mindset of our rapidly moving world.

I am Zoi Ioannidi, the creator of this podcast, and I am highschool student who takes a great interest in humanitarian and artistic topics. I have a passion for musical theatre and I am in a band! Furthermore, I, since always, have been a huge book fan. I have read a huge variety of genres, and I have to admit I don’t have a favourite one, except from reading books written by women, that concern women, and that have well written female characters. I am very passionate about my podcast and what it has to offer.
I hope that you are enjoying listening to it as much as I enjoy recording it!
