La Poubelle is a music-focused, late night radio show hosted by two strange dudes of questionable motives and mental stability, broadcasting “greasy tracks”, a tale of their adventures, cracking a joke now and then and creating a lovely place where one man’s trash actually can be another man’s treasure. The odds are high finding your very own earworm for the following weeks!
If you’re on the road or at home, by tuning in, you allow us to take you with us and show you our selection of tasty music, accompanying you safely to your destination, no matter if it’s a gas-station toilet or your bed.
Thanks to the non-profit organisation of Radio ARA, it is our mission to travel around the world of music in our ol’ trusty Dump Truck, scavenge for tracks we think are “very poubelle” and give back to our listeners « The greasiest tracks YOU MIGHT NEVER heard of » alongside humorous/satire jingles from every-day life situations. Our protagonist is the massive library of music and talented artists that simply do not get enough credit.

There is a tone of nostalgia within our music selection, taking back
classics from 50s and 60s that inspired songs today, mixed with more recent electronic jazz funk from the later 70s-80s-90s. It isn’t just about old school; it is about the hybrid mixture
of these genres that create the TONE and FEEL of La Poubelle. The Essence, the GREASE.
