“Kontrovers – de Podcast iwwert de Strofvollzuch” is a Luxembourgish podcast that explores the prison system and its broader social context. Our aim is to shine a light on topics that are often left in the shadows – incarceration, justice, rehabilitation, but also related issues such as addiction, migration, poverty, and exclusion. We do not seek sensationalism. Instead, we want to understand how the prison system works, who is affected by it, and how it could be improved.
Nadia is a founding member of “eran, eraus … an elo?”. Since the creation of the association, she has been committed to improving the daily living conditions of detainees. Her main focus lies in the psychological support of prisoners, as well as support for their children and relatives outside the prison.
Gregory is a founding member of “eran, eraus … an elo?” and currently serves as the president of the association. As a law student, his focus lies on the legal aspects of the association’s work as well as on issues concerning minors within the penal system. In addition, Gregory is strongly engaged in matters related to the conflict in Ukraine.
Christian is a founding member of the association “eran, eraus … an elo?”. Since 2021, he has been actively engaged in advocating for the rights of detainees. The main focus of his work lies in improving the working conditions of prisoners. Christian is also the author of the book “Strafvollzug und Strafvollstreckung in Luxemburg – 1945–2023.”
