The mission of the International Youth Center-Pernik is to be a place of inspiration, creativity and opportunity, where young people feel free to develop their ideas and realise their potential. By supporting, sharing experiences and exchanging good practices, we inspire young people to be proactive and engaged in their communities, to develop and build on their knowledge, skills and experience and to realise their ideas.

We unite the energy of young people through attractive initiatives, projects and campaigns in the field of youth activism, entrepreneurship, social skills, critical thinking, youth employment, healthy lifestyles and environmental practices, thus encouraging them towards civic engagement and personal development. Through field work and partnerships, we give space to develop new skills and encourage young people to recognize volunteering as a cause and to be responsible active citizens.

The center is part of the National Network of Youth Centers in the country and actively participates in national and international activities, building contacts and cooperation with youth centers and organizations in Europe and beyond. This opens up opportunities for young people to have new experiences, youth exchanges and create friendships.

For our team, youth work is dynamic, exciting and provides young people with the opportunity to discover their passion, connect with other young people, be successful, fulfilled and change the world around them.
