Ukraine and Russia traded deadly strikes overnight, killing and injuring dozens on both sides. Ukrainian attacks inside Russia reportedly killed nine people and wounded 23, including a child, with fatalities in Belgorod and Astrakhan regions and damage to homes and an industrial site. Russia’s strikes on Ukraine killed at least four people in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Sumy regions, and set ablaze 54 market pavilions in Sloviansk. Kyiv has intensified deep strikes on Russian logistics and facilities, including attacks on Wildberries warehouses, while Moscow has ramped missile and drone strikes across Ukraine.
Hayden Panettiere, the US actor famed for Heroes and Nashville, has died at 36, her father announced, asking for privacy as the family grieves. No cause of death was given.
