A fire at the Oxy tower construction site in central Brussels on Tuesday killed several people whose bodies were found in a lift shaft, prosecutors said. Firefighters extinguished the blaze quickly but discovered two stuck lifts, prised one open and located multiple victims while search and recovery in difficult conditions continued. At least six people were reported missing, two others were hospitalised with serious burns and a firefighter was treated at the scene.
