The government council has approved new tripartite support measures for households, transport companies and workers. The package includes subsidies for gas and electricity, reduced fuel excise duties, and a planned net minimum wage increase by July 2027.

Environment Minister Serge Wilmes has proposed changes to the nature conservation law. The reform would introduce a six-month deadline for some permit decisions. If authorities do not respond in time, permission would be considered granted, except in national nature reserves and Natura 2000 areas.

A planned Wolt courier strike was smaller than expected after alleged pressure from subcontractors. Couriers are protesting reduced payments and demanding clearer rules and better protection.
