Students are struggling to find accommodation ahead of the new university semester starting in two weeks. The University of Luxembourg says demand for student residences is higher than available capacity. The modernisation of the Brussels-Luxembourg railway line has been delayed until 2031, two years later than previously planned. The upgrade is intended to allow trains to travel at up to 160 kilometres per hour. Luxembourg’s work is already complete, while most remaining construction is on the Belgian side.
