Raised in Kuala Lumpur, Junn’s life took an unexpected turn when she moved to Paris after university. Immersed in the French coffee scene, she found herself enchanted — but it was a trip to Copenhagen that truly opened her eyes to the world of specialty coffee. That spark turned into a calling.
Her next stop? Luxembourg — a place she soon realized was missing the kind of modern coffee experience she’d come to love. When the pandemic struck, Junn did what true entrepreneurs do: she adapted. Launching an online specialty coffee business, she shipped globally to 40+ countries, connecting people through taste, aroma, and quality.
But she wasn’t done yet.
Today, she’s the proud founder of Curious Buds, with two cozy café locations (and a third on the way). Junn talks about how she turned a passion into a business, the growing specialty coffee scene in Europe, and why taking micro-steps is her key to making big dreams happen.
