Luxembourg has introduced a new passport since yesterday. The document is now valid for 10 years instead of five. The price remains €50, whilst express applications still cost €150. The longer validity period should reduce administrative work.
Luxembourg granted €440 million in state aid to businesses last year. Economy Minister Lex Delles said the amount was far higher than two years ago and close to levels seen during the Covid period. The ministry approved more than 2,300 aid requests last year. Most support went to environmental and energy transition projects, followed by digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
The Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce will bring a new delegation of Ukrainian startups to Luxembourg Venture Days 2026 in October. The event will connect startups, investors, and venture capital funds to discuss partnerships and investment opportunities.
