For the majority of Luxembourgish citizens, multilingualism is an evidency. But for anyone new to the country, it can feel like a barrier they have to cross before they can truly start their Luxembourgish life.

Tara Klassen is an actress and committee member of Maskénada, an interdisciplinary artist collective in Luxembourg. She herself has been on a journey through multilingualism for the past 15 years. In this feature of “Multilingualism – a blessing or a curse?” she tells Inara all about this journey and about multilingualism in theatre.
