Since its creation less than a year ago, the African Luxembourg Community (ALC) has seen remarkable growth in numbers, structure and organization. The team, led by Burrel Ngatcha, started out trying to create a network for Africans in Luxembourg to come together, share ideas relating to each other on this side of the globe, and growing the community network to self-serve.

Burrel stopped by the Nubian Lounge to tell us what the New Year holds for the team, the growth that has been experienced, the pursuit for asbl status and the goals/ expectations for 2026.

This month, Hembadoon is rounding up the radio discussions about her upcoming album project “TIME Na NOW” which launches on Friday January 30, 2026 across all platforms, with a launch release party. Guests are sharing their opinions about the concept of time and their thoughts on its use in life. Burrel shares thoughts with us; the conversation carries on to ALC memberships and the role of the asbl for its peoples.
