Luxembourg may face 200 million euro yearly costs to cross-border workers, under new EU rules. The last country of employment would pay full unemployment benefits, which includes cross-border workers.
Scammers are targeting motorists in Luxembourg City with fake parking stickers. Cybersecurity firm LetzSecure says the fraudulent stickers are placed on real parking meters. Users who scan the QR codes are sent to a fraudulent site called “ParkPay”. It mimics a payment service and collects credit card details.
Nature- and Geopark Mëllerdall has secured its UNESCO Global Geopark status for four more years. The certificate was presented in Paris after a positive evaluation. The park received a “Green Card” for meeting all criteria.
