Consumer confidence in Luxembourg has fallen to its lowest level in a year, according to national statistics agency Statec. Households are increasingly worried about inflation and their financial situation.

Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden has confirmed a tripartite meeting with unions and employers for early June. The talks come amid rising global tensions, notably the Middle East crisis, which could push up energy prices and inflation. 

Phishing scams have cost victims in Luxembourg around 10 million euros since 2023, according to Home Affairs Minister Léon Gloden. Phishing reports are rising, with 367 complaints filed in 2025 alone.
