Healthcare Faces Ongoing Staff Shortages

Three MPs joined an observation mission to Hungary organised by the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe. Gilles Baum of the DP, Claude Hagen of the LSAP, and Emile Eicher of the CSV agree that Hungary’s recent election was free and fair.

The healthcare sector is facing ongoing staff shortages, with hospitals and clinics among the most affected workplaces. Around 20 professions are currently listed as critically understaffed by the national employment agency. 

A major data breach has affected fitness chain Basic-Fit, exposing personal information of around one million customers, including some in Luxembourg. Unknown attackers gained access to details such as names, birth dates and bank information.
