About this Episode
Hear about two upcoming events being organised for Europe Day 2026 in Luxembourg, and about a very cool art festival that brought Italian poets and musicians to the Quaichleker Bichereck in Echternach and the Watergaart Elmen in Kehlen to work with local writers and artists. The playlist features Made In Europe music for the most part – one accidental American slipped in but he sounded Balkan, goes by the name of Gogol Bordello, and the song’Start Wearing Purple’ is as catchy as it is fun.
Also on the playlist are two performances by one of the Italian poets and musicians visiting Luxembourg, Pietro Amico. You can find him on spotify @ apoms contesto.
Other poets cites were Giuseppe Zingaro Tarantino and Salvatore La Tona. Local Italian teacher Elisabeth Ziger was instrumental in bringing the group to Luxembourg.
