Tonight’s Happy Hour focuses on creative spaces and artistic opportunities in Luxembourg, specifically those being offered in Luxembourg by Canopée Produktion and the brand new Lofy’s Place. Joining me in the studio will be Tessy Fritz, production manager and preseident of Canopée Produktion, and Tanya Lofy and Mary Carey from Lofy’s Place.
Canopée Produktion is a space designed to stimulate the creativity of individuals from diverse socio-cultural and professional backgrounds, while fostering social connections. It’s based in the Pfaffenthal, and has been offering residencies and other opportunities for film makers, musicians, artists and other creative souls since 2019.
Lofy’s Place, a brand new non-profit cultural initiative dedicated to art, heritage, and community, is located in the historic Grund district, in the former home, garden and studio of renowned Luxembourgish artist Wil Lofy. The initiative aims to preserve Wil Lofy’s artistic legacy while opening the space to new generations of creators and the wider public.
