About this Episode
President of the Indian Association Luxembourg, Sahil Goel, and the emcee for the IAL’s Diwali Gala for the second year in a row, Minu Vasundhara, join me in the studio just a few days ahead of the Diwali Gala to be held at the Cercle Cite on 8 November.
As usual, the popular event was sold out, so we weren’t trying to fill seats on tonight’s show, but talking in general about the association, its activities, and the meaning behind Diwali and the ways that it is celebrated. It’s also known as the Festival of Lights, and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, which I think is something we can all get behind!
The music was fun and fabulous, thanks in part to some suggestions by Radio ARA’s own Desi Vibes show host Ali Asghar Sherwani and by one of Happy Hour’s top fans, Tom Porz. It’s just a taste of the kind of music that will have Diwali guests up and dancing Saturday night – with Minu leading the way.
Find IAL on all the usual social media platforms and check out their website for more info. The association is open to everyone interested in joining!
