About this Episode
Liz and Corinne from the American Women’s Club tell us about the ‘Trunk or Treat’ event taking place at Differdange Castle, and about the wonderful cause the event supports – the club’s ‘Gifts for Kids’ drive that helps bring St. Nicolas gifts to children in foyers and refugee camps in Luxembourg who might otherwise go without receiving a present. We talk about our Trick or Treat memories, play some old songs that we all remembered and some we sang to (without the mics on, lol) and talked about the importance of traditions, good old fashioned family fun, and giving to others in need. Please consider making a donation to the AWCL Gift for Kids project

Toward the end of the show, someone knocked on the studio door . . . .who could it be? A trick or treater? A goblin? No, it was a food chemist, nutrition expert Cedric Ciprietti, bringing us sweets! He brought normal sweets and similar products that were made with xylitol rather than sugar, and hands down, we all picked the healthy treats as our favorites! Find more tips in his book ‘Yes, we eat Sheet’, available in local bookshops and on Amazon, and find him here too:
