About this Episode

Two topics tonight, and as we spoke about them, we saw so many connections between photography, theatre and writing. The show starts and ends with theatre director John Brigg, who translated Michel de Ghelderode’s ‘Escurial’ and is directing it as one of the Three Short Plays put on by Pirate Productions, New World Theatre Club and St George’s School. Brigg also joins in our discussion throughout the show – it was an improv performance, after all! See more about the plays, including the original play about Cole Porter written and directed by Neil Johnson, below. Jumping into the discussion a little later are Paulo Lobo, one of the directors of the street photography association that organizes the Light Leaks Street photography festival, and photographer Neil Hatfield, who came in second in last year’s ‘Open Wall’ part of the festival.
Three Short Plays include:
- My Father Odessyus presented by St Georges School (Thursday and Friday only)
- Escurial presented by New World Theatre Club a.s.b.l. (all 4 performances)
