Luxembourg’s highest social security arbitration court has ruled that doctors and dentists cannot increase their fees in 2025 and 2026, confirming a zero percent revaluation of medical services. The Association of Doctors and Dentists called the decision a setback. A new agreement must be reached within twelve months or the government will impose one.

In Esch-sur-Alzette, autonomous electric shuttle buses have operated without accidents since August 2025. However, average daily use stands at two passengers.

Meanwhile, influenza cases have dropped by 42 percent this week, while respiratory syncytial virus infections recorded a slight rise.
