Today, my guest is Oleg Greshnev — an Artificial Intelligence Architect. So, what’s an AI Architect’s job actually like? Is it more like a chef making a complex dish, a director working on a film, or maybe a LEGO builder putting together something intricate? Spoiler: it’s none of the above…

We talked about how AI mimics the human brain, how neural networks are trained to spot fakes (and even create them) — funnily enough, training a machine is a bit like raising a child.

I was blown away to learn that AI systems use as much energy as an entire European country, like Spain! And just one AI-generated image takes about the same electricity as charging a phone.

That’s part of why ChatGPT has a ‘lazy mode’ built in — sometimes it tries to dodge questions with general replies, and only gives detailed answers if you insist. All this is to save energy!

Oleg shared tips on how to ‘negotiate’ with the AI for better answers, how neural networks are censored, and ways people find to get around those filters…

These are just a few of the highlights from our conversation, which you’ll hear very soon. Stay tuned!
