About this Episode
Real estate agencies in Luxembourg have launched a new property platform amid tensions with atHome.lu over subscription fees and pricing transparency. The national real estate federation FIL introduced “Filia” as an alternative platform for buyers, tenants and agencies. Member agencies can publish listings free of charge. Around 900 properties from 30 agencies are currently listed. The move follows months of criticism of atHome’s pricing policies and a boycott last winter involving more than 50 agencies.
Meanwhile, 47 municipalities have been recognised during this year’s Climate Pact Day for climate and energy transition efforts. Fifteen municipalities, including Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette, received international gold certification. Municipalities are evaluated on renewable energy, sustainable mobility, climate adaptation and long-term carbon reduction strategies.
Luxembourg also marked Europe Day on Saturday with celebrations across the country, including official events on Kirchberg and at the European Village in Wiltz.
